Salem Harvest is a local group dedicated to connecting people in our community with fresh produce that would otherwise go to waste. The intentions are to alleviate hunger, build community and to promote sustainable lifestyles. I had the opportunity to speak with Lisa Clark-Burnell, Project Manager, about their upcoming harvest season, their past year and their organization.
