Edible Portland is now accepting nominations for their 2012 Local Hero Awards. They are looking for inspiring organizations and individuals in the local food community. The categories this year are Farm/Farmer, Restaurant/Chef, Food Artisan, Beverage Artisan, Nonprofit, and Retail Business.
Visit the Edible Portland website to submit nominations by October 31st, 2011.
During the month of November, readers will vote from the top four nominees in each category. Winners are announced in February 2012.
