The Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde and Aprovecho are partnering to offer a Permaculture Design Certificate Course this winter.
The Grand Ronde Permaculture Course will be taught by Tao Orion, Abel Kloster, Judy Bluehorse Skelton, and others who work in both indigenous land management and permaculture. Throughout the ten-week program, course participants will be engaged in the design of a community farm and educational center. Topics of discussion will include design methods, soil fertility, microclimates, and animal husbandry, among others.
